DESCRIPTION:

Do you want to make a SPECIAL quilt for a wounded warrior through an organization like Quilts of Honor or Quilts of Valor? OR just For A Special Warrior You Know. Are you afraid that your majestic hand appliqued Bald Eagle center block wouldn't stand up to lots of loving use? Are you afraid of all those individual EAGLE feathers THAT WILL MAKE YOUR EAGLE SPECTACULAR? Do you dislike the feel of fusible applique? Well, after many Eagle designs for center MEDALLION blocks, I have perfected many various techniques that make this machine applique project easy for you to master and to achieve a spectacular Eagle block. Using fabric pretreated with Terial Magic and using a glue stick, you, Dear Student will avoid having to use stabilizer or a fusible product! Once the image has been secured (Day One) we will move onto sewing the feather details in; again without stabilizer or fusible web. THIS will include thread play and beautiful embroidery techniques. If you desire to make this a small wall hanging, please bring a 24" x 24" piece of cotton batting, a 24" x 24" piece of fabric for the backing; bring border material if desired and enough fabric for binding.
